This Fiennes is Mines

I highly advise against looking up The Grand Budapest Hotel on Etsy because you will love everything. And you will die.

This one is sooooo tempting.  I live in Arizona and I work with cops.  I might have to do this……

What with all the bare bellies on this tag recently, I just had to bring this masterpiece back out.  Plus, it’s hot here and this helps.  Don’t question my logic because there really isn’t any.

#crappy picture but I think he looks gorgeous

No Ralph picture is crappy.  The camera was inadequate to the task of capturing his magnificence.  ;)

For ralph-is-fiennes ~ for the full effect you really need the fuzzy navel.  Pat the belly.  (Oooohh, that should be a children’s book!)

ralph-is-fiennes:

"Why a dog? To me, Ralph is very animal-like in his acting, physically because of his lithe body and because he seems so driven by instinct."
- Alessandra Petlin on why this picture was taken as it was (2005)

Don’t forget this little gem from the photographer:
"You’re holding this dog like it’s the love of your life who just walked away," Petlin recalls telling Fiennes. "You picked up the dog but you’re thinking of her, you’re watching her go out the door."  Luckily the Constant Gardener star responded positively to Petlin’s behind-the-camera instructions.  "Everyone was worried he wouldn’t take his shirt off.  I was pretty insistent that that’s the way this image would work, if it was skin to skin.  I definitely wanted it to be very sensual."
Because sensual and dog are pretty much synonymous, right?  I think not.

Navarre shall be the wonder of the world, our court shall be a little Academe

Simon Russell Beale as Ferdinand king of Navarre and Ralph Fiennes as Berowne in Love’s Labours Lost, directed by Terry Hands. Royal Shakespeare Company, September 1990.

I love how Ralph looks like a hippie in search of a festival in that second one.
